I am quite familiar with the B-787 and did a lot of flight planning in MSFS2020 but just noticed this bug in MSFS2024. In the planner you set the cruise altitude like FL350. In the new system loading the flight plan defaults to FL350 even if you have another cruise altitude in the plan.
This is a problem because the top of climb and top of descent depend on this number and if it is wrong you have to find it on page 1 of the VNAV page of the CDU and enter it manually… then VNAV descent work fine.

On 3 plans
- Enter a FL150 FL100 FL220 in Flight Planner
- FL350 shows up on the CDU
- T/C T/D are screwd up and can throw an error on the CDU like: “Top of Descent is Before Top of Climb”
