I recently tried the flight planning utility (planner.flightsimulator.com), but when flying in MSFS2024 it doesn’t show my aircraft live position on the map.
Am I missing something—or is this simply not a feature?
Apologies if this is a silly question 
You will see your aircraft in the EFB map in the cockpit (press TAB) if you have loaded the plan.;
you wo’nt see it in the planner.
Thanks so much. I wasn’t sure if it was meant to show the aircraft on the planner as it syncs to the Xbox account.
Would be a nice feature to have in the future anyway!
If you subscribe to navigraph you will see it live on navigraph charts. (I don’t know about the free version of navigraph whether it does?)

Was never too interested because I rarely fly airlines but looking at the features Navigraph does look quite promising!

They have incorporated Rogers VFR into the maps, free ppl and ifr training (virtual). It really is a good add on now.
