So I’ve just got my new computer with a 3090 and a 5959x so I downloaded some games including flight simulator. Now I know the full game install is when you launch the game but the problem is whenever I do launch it goes through the splash screens ok but then gets to a land mark picture then just crashes. Every time so I can’t even get to the installation part it’s driving me insane. Every other game I’ve installed run fine without a problem it’s just this game. Can anyone help or know what the problem is
Event Viewer in the Windows Logs / Application section is your first friend.
Locate the entry with the crash details. You may have a first clue there.

So I am not to savvy with this so any idea whats going on here
You’ll get differing answers on this shortly, I expect, but what worked for me was to remove all the different version of the C++ runtimes that I had installed, then install only the x86 & x64 flavours of the 2015 -2019 version.

Do you have enought space for all updates required? And your PSU is enought to deal with 5959x plus 3090? And how much RAM do you have?
Believe in me…MSFS is a live creature and has it own mood lol

Also make sure you have US English Language pack installed for Apps and Websites.

Noticed that all these loading screen crashes before main installation are to do with not having US English language pack installed…
