I am not talking about the Landing Challenge Leaderboards.
I thought of an idea for leaderboards (Again, not for landing challenges), for most number of flights, most amount of flight time accumulation, and distance flown, and sort it by Daily, Weekly, Monthly, and All Time. I would put it as an icon (with a trophy) on the world map section next to the other icons.
Blue Circle Indicates where I thought it would be placed.

I suppose it could work by collating info from everyone’s Logbooks? As long as it was optional to turn off. I personally don’t want to be bombarded with trophies when I login. Each their own.
Good Point, and by the trophy I meant the icon.
Good idea, although the leaderboards could easily be manipulated by setting unlimited fuel and flying the Darkstar endlessly, for example, for distance. I’m sure there would be crazy people populating the top spots as is the case in every other game. But still it could be a great addition.
Also, community goals: X number of airliner flights in a region, X number of transatlantic flights, etc. Though it would need some rewards tied to it and MSFS may better not go down that FOMO route.
But what if it were to only count if the player finished the flight?
