I feel like I know enough about the C152 but I would love to learn how to properly fly the g1000 aircraft and airliners. I want to graduate from just being a casual simmer. Pushing all those buttons would be a lot of fun.
Totally agree. We’re on the same page
Awesome! I wondered if any youtubers have done this. I’m even subscribed to his channel but missed these somehow.
Still think in-game tutorials would be nice to though.
Maybe over in the flight lessons you mean?
Exactly. The c152 is lonely.
I’d be partial to the TBM for tutorials on general aviation and the 747 for the airliner.
I think they’d need separate sets for G1000 vs G3000 since they’re so different.
There’s a few out there, though you need to be a bit critical, because not everyone who makes a video necessarily knows what they’re doing.
I really liked this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-zfyj5l8L_U&list=PLj2qHU-FlZQVAO1so1wJkt_zzp8nIVYVa&index=16&t=0s
Haven’t watched this one myself, but at least it’s by a real pilot: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dn2owgrsiUs
Wow Pilot Emile looks so much like Captain Valerie (who has that sweet Turbocharged Baron) from Steve-O’s channel!
Good idea. So I take these two aircraft use the same system. Does the A320 use the g3000?
No, airliners have their own flight decks and FMS. Even King Air has a different FMS. I only like flying GA ones though, so GTN750 (in P3D) or G1000/3000 are interesting to me.
So is there an aircraft in the standard version that uses the g3000?
TBM 930 does. With the nice touch entry sub-panels.
I thought so. And the c172 is the g1000 right?
Yeah the others are G1000.
Thanks so much for the info! I’m learning already.
You’re welcome!
I wonder if when they finish the SDK, anyone will be able to make tutorials, with the mission editor.
