I just noticed my flights are dropping as well. I check them after the fight, they are their, relog and the flight no longer shows in the logbook. This not recording flights in the logbook just started for me.
If that’s the case it is due to something they did in SU2… never was an issue before SU2
Correct, flights started dropping out of the logbook during SU2 beta, and continue to do so now after SU2 beta.
I’m done playing MSFS 2024. I’m tired of this simulator being so broke that nothing is fun about any part of it anymore. The Career Mode is a complete mess, Free Flight you can’t log flight hours, there’s nothing about MSFS2024 worth flying anymore. I’ll go back to MSFS2020, maybe, but definitely go back to XPlane 12, which I’ve been away from for a very long time. At least my hours are logged in that simulator.
The 2020 logbook issue made me stop playing 2020 for a long time. I guess 2024 is heading that direction too.

• I did a single flight a few days ago in a sim session, closed the sim. When I re-entered the sim today that flight was missing. That’s fairly typical of what’s happened the few times I have commented on this.

Software being able to keep a simple log of activities is a pretty trivial coding task. Not sure how they dropped the ball, again, on logbook recording.
SU3 beta 1.5.7 is keeping logbook entries. I’ve got my flight from yesterday and the flight I just did showing on it
Actually I take that back. It just deleted my last flight but kept yesterdays one
I have been faked out by this bug more times than I can count on one hand. Wondering recently if the career enabled aircraft models drop logbook entries more than others, but that’s delusional, right?
Hang on though. It kept the Hawk bush plane flight and a 747 takeoff but hasn’t kept Airbus flights. You might be on to something there
I basically never fly planes that are career mode enabled, and I’m losing about every second or third flight, at the moment. It feels like it takes away a flight every time i boot up the sim.

I read somewhere about developer mode causing this. I wasn’t running in dev mode but toggled it on and then off again. Having exited, my flights from yesterday are still there and first ones to stick since 19th May, so maybe just maybe…?

Bug was identified during SU2 Beta Testing. You’re lucky if this is the first time you’ve experienced this bug.
Personally I don’t think an SU should be released with any new bugs introduced and identified during the Beta Testing. Here we are deep into SU3 Beta testing and the bug still persists.
