FlightSim Studio Embraer 175

My copy is with Contrail (maybe you should transfer your copy to there) and I only have the E190/195 and 0.10.45 showed up fine.

No TO/GA press/arm ahead of takeoff roll? :eyes:

I usually arm TO/GA, on runway lined up, then arm A/T then advance throttle until A/T takes over.

The manifest Flex temp isn’t being passed over to FMS via ā€˜Enter into MCDU’ in EFB Manifest page

EDIT: Just finished a flight from EGPF to EHAM. All went relatively well. I realised that when I had my previous flight hang while using the FMS that I hadn’t updated my Nav data for the aircraft so that could explain the hang.

Everything went well on this flight VNAV all working well and ILS captured at EHAM 18R.

For some strange reason on approach A/T FMS speeds stopped working or I should say the aircraft slowed down to Flaps 5 speed all by itself when i was only at Flaps 1! FMS speeds were correct. I ended up flipping to manual a/t speed and adjusting it back to 185kts then manually adjusting speed down for each flap setting. I’ve not seen this before, usually A/T uses FMS speeds and flap speeds. Everything was set up correctly in FMS landing page too. Not sure what was going on there.

Ok, tnx.

Yeah, the option to transfer to Contrail for FSS, Aerosoft does not show up anymore. Only Simmarket, marketplace, inibuilds and Orbx :grimacing:

EDIT - available on AerosoftOne now

New MCDU still dont work in VR. Clickspots for numbers and letters are way off. Sayed it so often while Beta testing, nothing happend.

I will give another try following those recomendations. Thanks a lot for your answer.

The stable version works well :folded_hands::airplane::airplane:

Sorry, I did exactly what its specified here and I still have issues with the autopilot behaiving very weird, even the vertical path was not showed anymore. Maybe I dont know how to fly the new stable version, maybe Im doing something wrong but what I dont undesrtand is that I have flown this aircraft for many years since the FSX (E-jets its my favourite aircrafst so far) and think I know pretty well this bird… I never had problems before :frowning:

Unfortunately I need to retract my earlier somewhat positive sentiment, at least in regards to the 195 - what has been slight oscillations in the smaller plane turned out impossible to handle in the big sister. Exhibit A, a nice descent during initial climb:

The plane seems unwilling to hold even a most basic mode like a small VS or FPA (attempted both to shallow out the oscillations close to selected altitude). Not just that, the SPDe logic of the autothrottle also appears questionable: when I took over the reins a tad above the selected FL350, the ā€œfixed thrust settingā€ continously lowered thrust as I struggled to pitch for even flight.

Yes, I could have disengaged the AT, but at this point I’d basically be handflying the darn tang since the FD hadn’t captured the VALT despite me being much more even than it did on AP.

Maybe it’s a good thing I can’t get to FSS’ Discord server because it’s the second time in a short while I got incensed

The placard inside claims that it’s the .10.45 and so does Aerosoft’s store, so I’m assuming I’m up to date

Is anyone having any luck with A/T not hitting FMS speeds with 0.10.45?

I’m seeing it exceed takeoff/initial climb speeds and also hitting minimal landing speeds early on final speeds when it should be much higher (as I haven’t deployed flaps yet). For example I go to Flaps 1 or 2 and instead of it holding Flaps 1 or 2 speed, it just drops straight down to Flaps 5 or even down to Vref speed. I’ve not let it go further to see if it stalls, but it is not holding the airspeeds listed in the FMS. This is with the landing page all filled out and ref speeds listed.

My only way around it is to manually dial in to the A/T the approach speed for each flap setting as I use them. The aircraft seems to be fine with FMS speed in climb cruise and descent, but in T/O and final it’s not behaving (how it used to). Anyone else?

I’m also seeing strange landings where the nose is hard to bring down. I try to convince myself that it’s just my landing technique that’s bad, but twice now the nose wheel has been very sluggish to bring down after the back wheels have made contact. I don’t remember this from before. Maybe it’s just me though.

For approach speeds do you have FIXED or GREEN DOT selected? You select that with PERF, APPR page in FMS. Also an option in EFB to make it default.

Is that new? I’ll need to go look for it and check. I have the Vefs all filled on on that page. I’ve not had to change much else previously.

really terrible aircraft this

Yesterday, I completed my first truly solid flight with the E175, from KDEN to KSMF. Everything went flawlessly—no issues at all—and the autopilot performed perfectly, with both VNAV and LNAV working as they should. I’m usually quite critical, and I’ve often called out the FSS team for what I felt were lackluster improvements. But if I can consistently replicate yesterday’s experience across future flights, I’ll be genuinely satisfied with the current stable version. I’ll keep testing this aircraft—there’s no other choice. After all, the E-Jets have always been my favorite, and I just want a decent addon that lets me enjoy them the way they deserve.

look at this bugs.. https://www.youtube-nocookie.com/embed/M2rSf8Y2uHQ

Not seeing that here. Maybe a local conflict? I’m also finding this version to be pretty good.

Anyone know how to disable the dark engine smoke effects on the 175?

I already made 5 flights with the new stable version and I can confirm that its working really good, the FSS team finally delivered a very good aircraft :purple_heart: . I just have one comment, when the weather is windy I feel the plane its too sensitive and moving a lot as it would be a very light aircraft (like a really small business jet or a medium size turboprop), to be honest I dont know how the E-jets behave when they face strong winds but as much as I observed in different videos and based in the flights I made in real life in this aircraft, it shouldt be affected that much with the winds… but Im not sure.
