"Flightsimulator.exe Not Responding" as seen in Resource Monitor

After Flightsimulator.exe hangs showing the “Not Responding” message, I am offered the opportunity to continue in Safe Mode. That loads OK. So my problem is somewhere in my 60 some community files. The problem: Which ONE caused Flightsimulator.exe to gag? Does FS.exe or Windows have a log file or some step by step debugger I can employ to determine which community folder entry is at fault? (BTW, know about Community Linker and removing the Community Folder during diagnosis but it’s likely only one of my Community Folder items. I just need to know which one!)

Unfortunately, the only way to test this is by adding them back in a few at a time and testing them. Pay extra attention to any mods that have been on the PC for a while as older files are more likely to cause conflict with the updated versions of MSFS.

Personal Comments and Observations

Take half your Community Folder out, restart the sim. If it bounces, the suspect Add-On is in that population. Remove half again, rinse and repeat.

Thanks for your suggestions. I’ve tried the divide by half trick and I also have the Flightsimulator Linker running so removing items from Community is fairly easy. Finally, I read in a MS post that there is no way to determine which community entry caused Flightsimulator.exe to stall. Maybe that will be added in 2024.
