I am flying from Yeager Airport KCRW and I am flying in Charleston
WV…you will immediately upon takeoff fly right into charleston…
The airport overlooks the city basically…
I see them in the Baltimore/Washington area. (at Night)
Example, take off on Rwy 33 KMTN, heading North, and keep at about 500ft – There are round White Light balls everywhere, you can even fly into them !!
They seem to mainly be associated with roads, and illuminated Buildings.
They are fixed in space – ie Not associated with road traffic.
100’s of them !!
(Long High Rez Video - too late tonight to edit down … it is what it is )
I still have them as well. Is it related to a specific graphics settings or a file corruption during incremental updates?
No idea, but it is that clear, that obvious and that numerous, that ASOBO should get to address it soon.
Its like MS FLIGHT !!!
Fly at night - If you can fly through them, they light up the whole of your cockpit as you hit them. Shame it does not keep Score !!!
same with me
Hi @oTompiTo, @LyricPenguin301, where are you seeing them? Airport/city/coordinates?
The issue is a scenery issue. Not related to graphics cards. For clarity, this issue is not regular light balls with no lamp posts that are everywhere over roads and cities. (Asobo has just chosen not to put lamp posts on every lamp.) This is about lights floating in the air well above where they should be. For example, take off from NZQN at night and you will see them all over.)
As far as lights on poles. I know I am stating the obvious, but Typically, they have reflectors, to reflect light Downwards, so, from the air, you “should” see very little, if any, of the actual light source. - just the lights illumination effects on objects below the lamp.
SO, it’s going to be interesting if Asobo explain these new “Light Balls”
Good evening,
same floating lights here in LIDB (Belluno) LIPB (Bolzano). I have not yet tried other airports at night but already in the distance you can see other fluctuating lights. I believe the whole region has this problem
BRGDS
This video is after TO from LFMN (Nice) Rnw 22. Bank 80degs to the right and follow the road to the mountains.
Note: After the last Dec 3rd update they are less visible but still present. I made this video before this update to demonstrate the issue. I hope Asobo’s Tech department will know how to solve this in a future update.
Specs: 1080p, Gtx1060, 32GB, I7-7700. (smooth as butter btw ) ![]()
.
RPLL (Manila International Airport) same with me sir pls check it. thank you
Hello,
I flew around RPLL recently and did not see them. Do you have a screenshot?
Innsbruck is even worse then before 1.11.7. There are more walls of light now.
It would be nice to have a option to fix it ourself untill Asobo has time to fix them.
and if that doesn’t work, please raise a zendesk ticket with details of the location etc - the devs asked for specific feedback on these in one of the recent Q&As
i have flloating lights again ! i updated the mfs and it works perfectly… but next day i launch it, and make a fly on my city and this happend…

Hi @fmoscoso12,
Those don’t look like floating lights to me. You didn’t give an area where this is at so others can also check it out.
