Fly By Wire A320 TOD marker missing

Hi all,
I am not sure if I am missing something, but the TOD markerseems to have disappeared from my plane. I update to the latest Dev version before every flight, it has been there consistently in the past, but on my last 5 or 6 flights I have noticed it is gone?

Have they changed that or am I missing something?

It was never really there properly. It was a leftover not correctly working attempt at a guess by the default A320. It won’t actually work correctly until they fix vnav for it finally. Best option is to use the TOD calculator in the FlyPad.

I just start my descent when my ATC tells me to. It’s been behaving well lately, I always end up at the right altitude at the right time.

Thanks for the replies, was just wondering if I had missed something. I use PILOT2ATC and have been simming for years so I dont rely on it it is however nice to have as a visual cue, and it is part of the real airbus so was just wondering what had happened to it.

But now I know, many thanks people.

These are the key “hockey stick” symbols for the A320. A few can be seen in the FBW A320 but their accuracy is not currently modeled. For example, the path intercept “lightning bolt” is not modeled at all. And the “TOD” symbol moves along the path ahead of the airplane which is not accurate.

This awesome reference site goes into detail on the navigational symbols we should see in the A320: Navigation Display Symbols | Table 1 | Section 8.2.0
