How is possibile when I arm the speed brake, during landing and when there is touchdown it don’t open
Are you using the latest version?
Are the spoilers not deploying on the wings, or is it the handle not moving?
The only issue I have noticed in regards to the spoiler is this one:
if you mean during auto-breaking, you need to make sure they are “armed” first - you close them all the way forward and then up (the top part of the handle goes to an up position) and you will see an indicator on the main screen that says “GND SPLRS ARMED”
I m using last version of the stable. Spoilers brake doesn’t open when touch the ground , I m sure that are armed
Ok, but is that in wing view, or that you don’t see the spoiler handle move?
I don’t believe the handle actually moves.
You may have to see if they deploy from the wing view.
I know how to arm, but doesn’t fuction when I touch ground. Here a video
Yes, that is the bug I gave you a link to.
They are working, it’s just the visualization that needs fixing!
but that link is for the experimental version, If I understand well
I m using stable version
It does mention the experimental in the bug report.
The symptoms are identical, so I think you have shown it exists in all versions.
Exactly.
That is why I believe you have shown the bug probably exists in all versions
ok thanks a lot
not so sure about that bug…I just did a flight with the latest dev version (which fixes the missing label issue) and it works (from external view you can see the speed brakes deploy automatically).
Note, assuming the spoilers are armed, I had autobrake set to 1 but they only deployed when I retarded the throttles to idle.
With weight on the wheels, and spoilers armed, that’s is indeed when they are supposed to deploy.
Judging from the movement of the spoilers, I’d say there’s a conflict in the spoilers axis somewhere in your hardware controls. What hardware do you use? I’m going to give an example on the Thrustmaster TCA Quadrant with Spoilers Addons.
Basically, when you have the Spoilers Axis bound to a lever/slider, the sim is “continuously” receiving inputs from the hardware on the position of the lever/slider. So if this lever/slider is in the retracted position, even if you arm the spoilers, once it deploys the sim will receive the input of the spoilers lever in your hardware in the retracted position and immediately retracted the spoilers.
For my TCA Quadrant with Spoilers addons, I actually had to “unbind” the spoilers axis from the spoilers lever. And instead I use digital input commands of Retract Spoilers bound to the first position virtual button on the lever, then Set Auto Spoilers Arming on the second position in the lever, then a few empty bindings until I have the Extend Spoilers command in the final spoiler position virtual buttons.
It won’t deploy or retract smoothly like if we’re using the axis, but at least I can retract and deploy manually if needed (albeit, it’s either fully closed or fully open). And without the axis command interfering in the sim, when I put the spoilers in the second position to Arm the autospoiler, it will stay “armed” and will deploy the spoilers on touchdown.
When I vacate the runway, I can just move the spoiler lever back to the retracted position, and the sim will receive the command to release the auto spoiler arm and also to retract the spoilers.
Now the above example is just one example when using one hardware with the spoilers axis bound. You might also need to check on your other hardware that you have connected to your PC, make sure you don’t have multiple hardware having the spoilers command bound. Because conflicting commands could have caused this issue as well. So make sure you only have ONE hardware that you want to use to control the spoilers, and remove the similar commands coming from your other hardware (this includes keyboards, mouse, gamepad, etc).
Thanks
I have too TCA
SO you said to do this action ?
Yeah, if you have the TCA with the Spoilers addon attached, try to do the action I specified above. Remove the Spoilers axis from your control profile, then reassigned “Retract Spoilers” to the virtual button that you get from the top position (Button 27, I think). Then the “Set Auto Spoilers Arming” to the second position (Button 28, I think). Then the “Extend Spoilers” to the last position (Button 31, I think).
I’m not in my PC right now, so I can’t say the exact virtual button numbers, but I hope you understand the concept. That way, you can manually retract and deploy the spoilers by moving the spoiler lever to either the up position or the fully down position. Then if you want to arm the auto-spoiler, just move it down one position, and you can disarm by moving it back up. That way, you can have the auto-spoilers deploy without having the spoilers axis position overriding the auto-spoiler deployment. (Provided you also remove any other bindings that control the spoilers from your other hardware like sidestick, gamepad, keyboard, and mouse).
If your TCA Quadrant doesn’t have the Spoilers addon attached, make sure you remove the Spoilers Axis (And the Flaps Axis) from your profile entirely. This will make sure you don’t get phantom inputs coming from a hardware that you don’t have.
