I followed your instructions and put in a simple from - to flight plan with no problem
I feel before I was trying to use only the direct to and as you say it appears to be broken.
Never mind I feel I can achieve what I want with the simple from - to plan

Yes there is currently a bug with Aera. Think that is the case as of SU1. Direct to is not working as it does not allow you to enter WPT as well as other functions are crippled.
Also does not allow you to transfer flight plans from tablet to avionics.
Even being simple, Aera still offered more than most users know. You can get terrain information, weather information, you can display data fields and it even offer procedures (not working currently)
To access these modes use the menu button (three lines) on top of the screen when in the map/ other pages.
This issue has been reported to Asobo.

When I said that it’s lacking functions I mean things like chat/sectionals, traffic, terrain and a whole lot more.
Would love to see WT do some work on the in sim one.

Yep, I also hope WT will work on aera, its a good system, deserves to be updated.
However I just try to point out, that even what we had before is now limited due to bugs.
Anyone know how to hide the efb and the mounting bracket?
There is a click spot on the upper right hand edge of the tablet. Bit fiddly to find at first.

On the 2020 version I’m unable to start the taildragger. Both tricycle gear aircraft start just fine using checklist procedures. Any ideas?

- thumbnails updated
- manual added
- paint kits added
- tablet no longer appears by default.

Thanks, I was planning on flying it tonight anyway, but now I have more incentive to do so!
I’m not able to load the Pilot and Copilot weight in MSFS24. It’s not working in the Main menu before the flight and not when on ground or on runway.
I also tried to set weights in the .cfg file, but the sim not recognize them. So with no fuel and Caro, i have always the empty weight of 644lbs.
The cargo section works.
Has anyone the same issue?

This issue is not Rans related. Pilot weight is entered by default in the .cfg files. At this point weight and balance in sim is bugged, especially for native planes. IT changes its behavior with every update. You will notice it works for some aircraft and for others it does not and I can’t see the pattern.
Only way to fix this is to wait till system gets stable.

Maybe this is helpful, i deleted the navigation_graph folder and then the EFB works fine. There are two seats and the loading works. But only the Pilot avatar is showing.

What would be great, to have a altimeter with a second scale with QNH or the ability to change the altimeter. One with inHG and one with QNH. Would be making flying outside US more easily.
Keep in mind navigation grapah is part of MSFS new loading system and will be necessary in future. As of current it is still not working that great. By deleting it you are applying old MSFS2020 style system which works but can yield errors in future updates.
QNH is something else, but I believe you are referring to units used in Kollsman window. There is no planes to have hPa for now. That time can be invested in improving other aspects of the simulation
