FLYBYWIRE a320NX / MCDU SERVER (server.exe)

To be able to use the MCDU Web Interface I need to start the web server which will provide the application to my browser. To do this I have located the flybywire-aircraft-a320-neo folder. For any reason the Sub-Folder called “MCDU SERVER” is EMPTY! (I did NOT delete any files!). However, I am MISSING a file called server.exe. BTW, don’ t have this kind of issue concerning the “Headwind A330-900” which is mainly based on the FlyByWire A32NX and that file (server.exe) is there in the original place.

I will really appreciate any help you can provide. Thank you!

Is Simbridge active? You need to install that via the FBW updater and have it active.

Yes of course, SIMBRIDGE is up and running, but again the “MCDU SERVER” folder is empty. The file server.exe which is supposed to be there - isn’ t there. I can’t start the server!

I ve got the same problem

If you are on Development or Experimental you don’t use server.exe anymore, just Simbridge.

I am trying to use my tablet for the mcdu ,it says in one of your post to use simbridge not the mcdu server , could someone please make this more clear ? I do have simbridge installed .

I have tried the firewall, updates, nothing is allowing me to use externally an ipad for the MCDU function I found the article “remote mcdu” but do not understand what needs to be done to get that up and running, programming the mcdu by mouse is a pain ,I have no SERVER MCDU folder, any ideas would be great , thanks

I have much the same problem. I cannot use the FBW Experimental or Development version because the MCDU will not connect on my iPad. It is NOT a connection problem as it works seamlessly and well on the stable version I have to use to enable the remote connection to work correctly. Whenever I try the experimental version, I get the MCDU outline only, the display window is blank. I know it is connected as the sound function is OK ! Attached are the latest versions I have and that is from the latest FBW installer. I cannot see how this is a connection problem as it works as it always has, on the stable version

Also check your pc s network connection make sure it is private not public mine did not broad cast before when network was on public , as soon as I switch network (wifii) to private I will be able to broad cast any device even stable version no problem, by the way I did not even
know it until remote mcdu display attempt on my phone as public network description explains ***public networks *** can not ***share files and use as printer ***
