The new cockpit is amazing that vid was so good I am so excited for when you do a preview on the outside of the aircraft I can’t believe it’s free ware thankyou the a380 is my fav aircraft I’ve always want it in any flight sim.
As far as I can tell they are going to use the a32nx repository for the a380. There are some systems that can be at least partially shared between both planes. So rather than maintaining those in 2 different repositories they extract them logically and use them for both planes.
That commit is the preparation to get the project structure in place so they can start implementing/integrating a380 systems inside that project.
While this in itself does not give a direct indication how far away we are from a first release, it’s still a very important step towards that direction, as it will open up the source and will allow for external contributions over time.

I can confirm that this is correct. We are planning to develop both aircraft along with their shared libraries in one repository, so this is why the project was created here. Note that the systems module is right now identical in functionality, just with renamed elements in the code. Some development has already started though and will be added through normal PRs.
