aha, my bad, I didn’t know that.
I’m 100% on board with the topic of this thread. If Asobo at least cooperated with the Devs for the A320 mod and provided them advance data on patches, it would make the simulator that much more flyable, and serve as a fantastic example of a textbook community mod.
This would only serve to improve the addon community for the Flight Simulator, and significantly improve uptake of the Flight Simulator for the masses from X-Plane, P3D, and FSX who are still hesitant on migrating.
Can’t agree more on that
Asobo, please support this community team with its great A320 project!
This Project it absolutly worth to get a major support from you.
Many folks simulate daily in deep a realpilots live just for fun. Thats one of the elementary Parts of your /our simulation.
Greetings Tayros
Yeah. It will be really interesting how Asobo / MS react on this.
I can understand that they don’t want to p*** off Aerosoft with a potential A320 in the pipeline. On the other hand this would be priceless in terms of advertising the sim and giving it a huge popularity boost. They themselves never got tired of mentioning the importance of the community…
Asobo has been restlessly saying how important the community is but they have barely talked with the A32NX team if at all. If Asobo was smart about this, they would definitely allow this to happen as the people who are still playing XPlane and FSX/P3D have no reason to switch would have a reason due to a great freeware a320. Just like XP11, I got into it because of the zibo 737 but there is nothing great about this sim other than the scenery.
C’mon ASOBO work together, give these guys what they need to make the A320 the best that it can be. This would be a brilliant partnership between use. They have already enhanced so much including fixing the left engine cutting out problem.
A320 from FlybyWire is finaly like it should look at day when FS2020 was released. They have done a lot of great work.
Is it possible to fix VOR? Or ASOBO should do it? When I put VOR freq to MCDU, on PFD there is no distance and direction info, only VOR name.
Hi - I’ve been reading through the forums at all the unhappiness since the patch release last week. Could someone please confirm if it is worth still going ahead and installing the flybywire mod now, or should i wait until MS/Asobo fix current issues? Thanks
Yes You can install mod. they fixed temporary ENG1 also.
Great thanks
I support this initiative
It would be a nice partnership, I’m not sure about the legal end and security.
OK, it got officially recognized at least. ![]()
May I cite a part of the latest update:
We are on an incredible journey together and we are committed to work with you, the community, to continue to improve and evolve Microsoft Flight Simulator for many years to come.
V0.3.0 is available here thanks to the team for their strong involvement. Keep doing this good work ! impressive !
having a blast with this MOD. Thank you so much peeps for keeping up the crazy progress you are making.
I absolutely concur. I use Linux for most of my computer heavy lifting yet I’m willing to pay Microsoft for their OS and flight sim. It is possible to support both free\open source and proprietary.
Please support this team,
this is an excellent and necessary project for FS2020
Especially as complex addons still seem to be at least a half year out.
