Hey,
I’ve downloaded the dev version of the A32NX. Do I have to use sim brief to activate it? Link to mcdu does not work - is it simply because it’s still under development or mis-usage?
Hey,

Did you insert your simbrief user ID/name in the EFB?
Maybe it’s better to post these kind of questions here at the FBW issue tracker.
It’s not an issue it just needs to be handled right.
I think they meant that if you don’t want to use SimBrief, can we still use the EFB to capture the flight plan from the MCDU. As the Link MCDU doesn’t seem to work (yet?).
I had use SimBrief before and the EFB is working to integrate to my SimBrief ID/name really well. But to be honest, I don’t like using SimBrief, and I’d rather use the built-in World Map flight planning tool in the sim. So my problem is if I don’t use SimBrief which I prefer, the EFB can’t capture the data using the Link MCDU button. Which I assume is capturing the flight plan FROM the MCDU, and not feeding the SimBrief flight plan TO the MCDU.
Me too. I don’t fly with simbrief. And yes, the connect to MCDU link isn’t working yet. Still WIP.
That’s why I called it a question.
I understand. But the github issue board is kind of limited and should only be used for bugs and not as a forum. So I would be glad, if users still can ask questions here in the 3rd party section.
I second that I don’t like using SimBrief at all I get less problems using the MSFS flight planner
Fine by me. I’ll keep questions here and direct bug reports to the issue tracker
So WIP. Thank you all.
