Flying a Cessna 208B Grand Caravan strait and level in auto pilot and it crashes saying it was over stressed. How is that even possible??? No wind and clear sky and flying at 4000 feet . All instruments in the green with no red showing on any gauge. No warning just crashes. Multiple instances.
Your engine torque and/or prop rpm are too high.
I don’t fly that aircraft, but I believe it does not have auto throttle. Have you check the speed of your craft?
If you’re running all the controls firewalled during the flight, it can indeed overstress in cruise. You’re supposed to lower RPM and power while in cruise.
I don’t know what you did specifically though, but if that’s what happened, then that’s your issue.
If you read my original post all my controls were “normal” and I was well within specs. This aircraft is one I fly a lot but for some reason on AP and flying strait and level the sim thinks I am doing something wrong. FWIW…
I would suggest setting up the same flight. Engage the autopilot and take a screen shot. Post the pic and let’s take a look.
