Perhaps you aren’t noticing what I was conveying. Once heard, you will not un-hear the skidding sound.

As for performance at altitude, perhaps I am missing something to keep it cool…? I have seen another mentioning this very issue today.

It’s not patience on the 206 for me, it’s temps. I live in a high desert, so high altitude and low DA relative to the already high altitude. Pilot, two passengers and more than 50% fuel once you get out of KBDN and into the 8000+ foot mountains to the west or north or 4-5000’ hotter and lower density high desert any other direction you literally can’t hold the altitude you need without exceeding the TOT. I’ve had a lot of emergency landings after trying in vain to stay above the ground at low speed without spending a critical amount of time with my temps in the yellow, if I try to compensate with rpm my transmission temp is the problem instead of TOT. If I lessen the weight it basically just performs like a big and clumsy R22. Again, looking at the performance charts that’s about right, R22s have very underrated engines to maintain performance at high altitude. Gonna just use the 206 in places like the Caribbean.
