Flysimware Cessna 414A

Is there a change log for the version update on the Marketplace on 08DEC22?

no change log

With the WT530, this aircraft is really awsome.

Thanks team for your quick fixes and for a really nice job with this project. :ok_hand:

Still the best MSFS aircraft I own. The flight and ground handling are fantastic, just like the complexity of the instruments, the looks, inside and out, the sounds. The level of immersion in VR is second to none. I can easily live without working circuit brakers, and who knows, we might get them one day.

Im not able to get the NAv 2 RN-1079A working nor the weather map. The light comes on but no response from OBS or audio or DME. 530 works with the frequencies. Im running ILS DME approach and need two NAvs.

This will be my next purchase along with the Blackbird Cessna 310. In a couple of weeks. I just got the Fenix bus and the PMDG 737, so between those two and the IniBuilds A310, I am in airliner mode for a couple of weeks, but based on what everyone is saying, the 414 is a great aircraft to have.

What version are you flying? I’ve got the Marketplace version, which was updated this past Thursday, but I just flew it with the WT 530 and had no pitch control for the AP. I had to hand fly it to an altitude and then set the AP. I feel like this is what has been reported here in the thread with the WT unit. Perhaps the Marketplace version is still a cycle behind?

I have the marketplace version (PC) and the manual pitch control for the AP worked fine.

Hmm… ok. I’m going to have to revisit this.

Me too on XBX

Really annoying with only one nav working. Here I am at MMAN airport tuned into the vor used for dme in the RN-1079A and number one Garmin tuned to ils freq

How do I send an image as an url?My dme is 115.4 and ils is 110.7 mman. I think i cant upload url cause of moderatorim on ils dme rwy 20 the garmin picks up both freq but the RN-1079a shows nothing on either. its dead as far as a nav.n o audio no obs no dme

The Nav2 is not that intuitive to use. Just because the correct frequency is displayed it does not mean it’s actually tuned. The trick is to press ENT twice after frequency entry rather than just once and it should work.

Works for me (XBOX), and AFAIK the Marketplace version is the latest available version 3.4.3.

that did it thanks couldnt find a instruction manual

you can find it here Flysimware’s C414AW CHANCELLOR MSFS2020 – Flysimware if you need it

Hi! I just flew an ILS approach to Turku in Finland (109.5 MHz), using the oldest livery version with the small GPS and CRT weather radar. All went well until I was pretty close to the runway - then the nav radio just lost track of the… of the everything. It was windy and maybe a sudden gust jostled the aircraft so the autopilot disconnected, which it seemed to do, but the ILS beacon should still be found.

This is probably user error in some way I don’t understand right now, but just in case it’s a new bug - anyone had the same thing happen?

Glad to be of assistance. I didn’t read it in the manual. I’m not even sure if it’s mentioned in there. It was just something I discovered when I first got the aircraft.

Any difference between market place and direct from developer versions apart from update release times?

Currently, I believe the Marketplace version does not support the weather radar, but that might only be on Xbox. Something about the code wasn’t playing nice. As far as I know, other than often being a version behind, Marketplace is the same as direct in terms of features and functionality.

Go direct. The MP version has had a few issues and of course because it’s MP you have to wait to get the update. Also going direct you can always go back to an earlier version if needed.
