I’ve tried contacting them through the customer service contact form from my account nearly 24 hrs ago but haven’t had a response
I just sent another request but is there any other way get the file?

No, via support is the only method. We are all waiting for them to upgrade their server so it’s patience until then I’m afraid.
The best way to do it is add it as a question/comment on your order form via their website. You can find it if you scroll down. I had a link within 10 minutes emailed to me.
The other best route is to ask via Discord. Both should be nice and quick. I think using the customer service email will end up with your request lost in a pile of other support requests that they are working their way through.
FSW have now upgraded to a new host - no idea when that will be online but I can’t imagine too long.
OK I was actually waiting for the 310, but the active updates and upcoming sound improvements have convinced me to support this dev. Buying this aircraft in a couple of minutes. After Aerosoft’s slow updates (perhaps this is even an overstatement) for the CRJ and Twin Otter this seems like a breath of fresh air.
But we don’t know the update cycles of this developer, since the product has not even been released.
All we see at the moment is work in progress showing that development is not finished yet. Don’t mix up beta with post release.
Agree 100%. I was also sent a download link within the hour.
Actually, we do. The Widgeon is a released product, and it’s updates were very timely when they were required. It’s been quite stable for a while now.
That’s good to hear. My impression was, the poster was inferring from the beta update cycles to post release, which is not necessarily accurate. Aerosoft released daily updates during the Twin Otter beta phase, sometimes even serveral updates per day. Post release not quite so much.
Anyway this seems to become a great addon for the sim, it already is very good.
Widgeon updates have continued since release. Even while they are working on the C414.
In the (relatively distant) past, Flysimware had nice flying planes with not the best modeling. Their modeling skills have vastly improved.
I know, the 310 wait is getting annoying. They have literally been saying “almost here” for many many months. I don’t want two Cessna twins, so if its much longer I will probably just buy the 414.
The 310 and the 414 are two very different aircraft. The performance of the 414 is light years away.
Well, let’s just say that the 414 certainly takes pressure off the 310. Certainly as far as I am concerned. Nonetheless, the instant that it is out, so is my card.
I think the sim is best experienced at a lower altitude… which the 310 is better at. The 414 is meant for 15k+ altitudes. I have jets and other airplanes that can do that well.
Arezone sells 3rd party soundsets. Sim Acoustics is a different developer that has been contracted by FSW to make new sounds to be released in a future update (the WIP video from Discord)
I just tried it with this file. Didn’t solve my problem, but it was definitely worth a shot.
Are you using version 1.60 of the 414? I found that with the latest version of the PMS GTN750 (1.1.29) the AC will not capture the GS on an ILS approach. I reverted back to version 1.1.25 and its all good.
Yep, 1.60, latest hotfix. Using 1.1.28 of PMS GTN750. Will try reverting…
Ok…mine is the standard 1.60 without the hotfix. Not sure if it makes a difference. Using the 1.1.25 version of the 750 certainly worked for me though.
Latest version is 1.6.2 though.
But beware, aside of download issues, now they also have activation issues.
So better make a backup of your folder in Community in case it fails to install.
Yes, same issues here, since Friday evening. Activation fails. According to the dev, their hoster has issues again. That must be the worst host in history
