Does anyone have experience with TBM and IFR plan directly in the plane on the FMC and not in the meny, that it makes the game freeze when you chang the STAR on approch etc. It seems to be when you remove waypoint from/or fadd a new one from what you originally entered as a plan. typically when you need to go directly to A waypoint or add a new star.
Yes, I have had it happen. I now set up the complete plan , SID to approach, before I depart and I haven’t had an issue since. It’s not totally realistic but it prevents the freeze.
I’m sure they will fix it eventually.
My last 5 flights since the update have been flawless. I’m really enjoying the TMB and fly it almost exclusively.

Not quite the same issue, but today I altered a flight plan in mid-flight (removed a waypoint), the plane still turned towards it so I forced the next waypoint active and the game hung. So similar to your issue it’s probably related.

I haven’t tried modifying my flight plan mid-flight, but I have loaded both Transition and Approach procedures with no problems. Can’t say that’s always been the case, but since the last patch/update I haven’t had any issues with the TBM systems.
That works for me to, but its when you start making changes in mid air. remove Waypoint and etc. then it freeze.
I fly the TMB a lot. I typically never enter the approach and just wait for ATC to give me instructions. In many cases, the airports I land at don’t have STARs either, so I don’t enter. I don’t recall ever crashing by modifying my flight plan.
I have on many occasions had it crash as I’m coming in to my arrival, whether it’s in my FPL or not. I’m riding along problem free, get a stutter, then I’m staring at my desktop. This seems to be a problem that’s unique to the TBM. I’ve not encountered it with other planes as of yet.

This happened to Clumsy Geek on his YouTube channel this morning. It didn’t appear that he deleted or manually selected a waypoint, but he was looking at the FLC.

Happened for me too. I set weather at live, read wind at planning map (you have to click dep/are airport) and then plan in sid, star, app, and make no changes enroute. No freeze, and hope it solved soon.
Got the same problem on 787-10. This means that FMC and routplanning dont work at all?
Correct, the flight planning across all planes is questionable at best outside the main menu. If you adjust something after loading the flight you run the risk of a CTD. If you want to actually complete your flight it’s best to leave your flight plan untouched, ignore ATC if they give you conflicting instructions (which never happens amirite?) and just fly what you planned. It’s not unique to the TBM, but something broken in the flight planning or ATC subsystems.
