I had the opportunity to use a full virtual design environment a few years ago. Amazing! walking around a design element. Interacting with the controls. Opening inspection panels. Even using a virtual screw driver from a virtual mechanics tool box to remove fasteners.
When I can put on the visor, sit back and control everything with my virtual hands, no sticks, no mouse, no nothing, just me and the plane, THEN I will take the LEAP.
