Follow automatic route

follow automatic route

hello everyone, after the last updates of the avionics of the B747 and B787. I can’t get the aircraft to follow the routes created when activating the autopilot. Can someone help me or explain what I’m doing wrong? thanks!

A screenshot of the fmc LEGS page and the autopilot panel would be very helpful.

Maybe you should check if the flight plan’s inputted into the legs page or if you have lnav on in the ap.

so, I don’t use fmc settings because I don’t know how to use them. but the routes I already create before starting at the airport. routes and waypoints are already configured on the world map. However, when starting takeoff and pressing the PA and Lnav buttons, the aircraft only resets the altitude and speed settings. It does not follow the route outlined in pink.

Do you have a screenshot of the pfd after you turned on the ap? there should be three boxes on the top which says what modes you are in. one of them should say “lnav”. i honestly have no idea why it’s not following the route after you did it, but like i said, some screenshots would be very helpful.
