Forced 25kHz radio channel separation at cold start

It appears that for unknown reasons (and unable to consistently reproduce), that when starting in a cold cockpit in the VL3 aircraft, in some cases the radio channel separation is forced to 25kHz and there is no way for the user to set it back to 8,33kHz. After going back to menu and back to 3D but starting in a hot cockpit in the VL3 aircraft, it appears the readio channel separtion is automatically set correctly to 8,33kHz.

Am I missing some function/setting in the Garmin or is this a bug? To reiterate, when starting cold, sometimes radio is configured to 8,33kHz, sometimes to 25kHz. Appears inconsistent.

Thanks for the added feedback.

i’m curious about this because i want the ability to control the frequency separation for my logitech radio panel. when i’m flying on pilotedge it’s hugely annoying to have the 8.33 kHz as it takes forever to switch. some aircraft have a setting but others do not

I also find it very frustrating that the com frequency is set to 8.33 separation by default. This separation is not used in the US that uses .025 separation. There should be a way of setting the default frequency separation to one or the other in the Options page. This would then apply to all aircraft at start up. Wether you use 8.33 or 0.25, everyone would be happy. I also find I can’t make the change at all in some aircraft. Very strange and very frustrating. Seems like it would be a simple addition on the Options page.

I see it has been 2 years since this post was started and nothing seems to have changed. Does anyone on the development team pay attention to these posts or respond to them?
