I’m able to connect to my foreflight on my Ipad with msfs2020 and mirrow my ipad to my desktop. I can bring in the window to vr by using follow me in windows mixed relality software, hp reverb g2. Here’s the problem, windows mixed reality software sucks at this. Oculus was so easy to bring in and resize and no controlers in vr with the reverb. Any other solutions to bringing in a window not documents to vr with the hp reverb g2? I have native msfs2020. I use flight event to connect to simulator and foreflight on ipad. I use airserver to mirror to desktop. Any better ways to do this with reverg g2?
As a VR streamer I have been struggling with the same issues. I have been using my G2 with my Valve Index controllers which means I need to use SteamVR. Because of that I can also use OVR Toolkit and bring in any window on the desktop I want into the VR cockpit. Since I also stream X-Plane in VR this works much better than MSFS but it does work. My system is a i7 9700K @ 4.6 and a RTX 2080 Ti but would buy a RTX 3090 if I could put my hands on one. Good luck in your quest.

OVR Toolkit lets you select any window on your desktop or the whole desktop into the VR space. You then can resize, change the opacity, or even tell it if I am not looking at do not display. I have been using it since I started VR streaming about a year ago and find it the best $12.00 I have spent on any VR item. You can look on my YouTube or Twitch channels to see it in action.

this looks to work only in home not in a game like msfs2020
I tried using airserver but as soon as I started vr airserver stopped, maybe if I had bought msfs2020 through steam it might would work but I didn’t.
For the G2 to work with SteamVR you need to install Windows Mixed Reality for SteamVR and that allows SteamVR tools to also work. I am using the MS store version.
I found one video on doing that. I started mixed reality for steamvr and lagging super bad, never stops. i started ovr and it works but still lagging with windows mixed reality for steamvr. when I say lagging I mean for one to two seconds each frame.
