Foreflight linking applications causing wifi issues

Hi all, as a real world student pilot, ForeFlight has become the go-to for all my pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight needs and I have been wanting greatly to bring that utility to the flight simulator world.

I have tried 3 different connection applications (FS2FF, FlightEvents, and Miller MSFS Relay) and they all work pretty awesome… for about 20 minutes. Within the first 20 minutes or so of use, it seems as if my PC’s wifi card decides it is time to die and completely disconnects and will not re-connect to wifi unless I restart my computer. My wifi card is only about a year or so old. This is extremely annoying because I cannot fly any of my usual flights before it disconnects my wifi and it kicks me off vpilot, discord, and anything else that requires wifi.

Has anyone experienced similar issues or does anyone have any solution ideas?

FS2FF works like a charm here with Foreflight (and Skydemon).

Seems to be related to your hardware. I guess you have updated your Wifi card drivers ? Any think in the Wifi configuration that should be related to energy saving (and faulty configured) ?

Wifi card drivers are up to date and it shouldn’t be an issue with power saving or anything. I pretty much always keep my PC running full steam

I’ve never had any wifi issues until now and unfortunately don’t really have the ability to use Ethernet as my modem is too far away

I actually just went and purchased a wifi extender with an Ethernet port so I’ll try it ‘wired’ soon. It seems like it may be an issue with my wifi card in my PC but idk

Alright. I got the wifi extender to use with Ethernet so I could bypass my wifi card and I still seem to be having about the same issue. I’m at a loss
