After upgrading to Pimax Crystal and installing the Pimax Open XR Switcher, I have an issue where I get bad stuttering when MSFS is in the foreground as a window - regardless of whether MSFS is in full screen mode or not.
If I bring another wndow into the foreground, everything is as smooth as silk.
This is the case whether or not the switcher is Pimax XR or Steam.
Even keeping something in the foreground is not really a work around as as soon as you click with the mouse, MSFS is in the foreground again.
Any ideas?

Tried everything on this one…but it only went away after upgrading to windows 11.

Try disabling HAGS (windows → graphics settings → hardware accelerated graphics scheduling). This had been an issue in Pimax software forever.

I’m running HAGS On with the Pimax with no issues.
Just to add that it might be a combination of things, perhaps?
I’m gonna try disabling HAGS and see if it makes any difference on my rig.

The problem went away when I upgraded to Windows 11 from Windows 10 - could be that something like prioritisation got reset when I upgraded.
