Hi there,
I am on Xbox and fly locally. I don’t know how to fly multiplayer, if it’s possible? But I often see really cool screenshots of formation flying of some form, how do you do that?
Thanks

It’s absolutely possible.
Set up your preferences this way:
Options > General Options > Data Connection > Multiplayer > ON
Ensure your flight is setup this way:
World Map > Flight Conditions:
Then choose one of the following depending on which you prefer:
Note, too, that you can choose a regional server for Multiplayer here, also on the World Map:
Of course, you still need to find some pilots to fly in formation with!
thank you , ill try it
though I wish there was an option like X-Plane has/had- for ‘formation flying’ , so you can pick it on the fly locally by yourself. or if you’re a fighter, then choose ‘tanker’. hopefully MSFS brings this in & activities such as refuelling & more
nevermind- xbox multiplayer requires a xbox live subscription.
Ah, yes, that.
PC users seem to be able to skate on past that requirement…
Fortunately now this has been solved thanks to the Xbox compatible Airshow Assistant
