I just noticed there’s now a Description Header on all of the Categories.

Yep! Added a few hours ago. Although it did break the “light” theme of which is being corrected.

Hi, on mobile device it takes up a lot of room at the top so you have to scroll down to read the content, could do with being made smaller.

I don’t like it. I already knew where I was going and it throws off the alignment by shifting everything down. just my .02

The reason this was added was that moderators move about 20 topics per day that are miscategorized. However, I do agree with everyone that the banner is taking up some screen real estate. We’ve asked if this space can be adjusted.

Can we have it bigger please? It only takes up 20% of vertical screen real estate at the moment.
Agreed. It’s taking up far more screen real-estate than it should.
How effective that change is will be remain to be seen. After nearly 30 years of doing web application development, I’ve found that very few people pay attention to such banners. They see them as an annoyance, scroll past, and go about their business as if it wasn’t there.
