On DLSS numbers of PFD is ghosting, and PFD is blurry
Everyone here had this issue when VRAM memory go out from range! it’s a bug!and we all hope as soon as possible Asobo will figure it out
this is a good point,im on windows 11 having these vram proformance drops like yall, is anyone with windows 10 having these issues too?
Windows 10 here, and yes I am having this bug.
Windows 10 here also, same issue, 1440p with a 3070. Also tried 1080p, it’s better, but issues at handcrafted airports still persist.
Ryzen 7 7800X3D, RTX4080S 16G, 32GB DDR5-6000 RAM w11
Same issue, mostly switching to external view and the fps which was at 60-85 drops to 5. My frame gen will bug out and require a windowed to fullscreen toggle to fix.
No issues here at all. Everything razor sharp with the latest DLSS version. Running DLSS DLAA with 4080.
No ghosting. No blurry textures.
What’s that program you have at the top left corner?
DLSS seems to freak out my sim when I use it with my 3070Ti. Are you using FG aswell?
DLSS+DLAA, and TAA both render in native resolution.
DLSS Quality renders lower and upscales (if you’re at 4k, the sim is actually only rendering at 1440p).
The difference I see in 2024 vs 2020 is the massive performance hit rendering natively in 2024- DLSS+DLAA is supposed to reduce that hit, but it seems busted as well, which sucks because I think DLAA looks cleaner than TAA.
I get better frames in 1440p native than I do using DLSS Quality at 4k. How does that make sense if it’s rendering at the same resolution?
I have a similar setup to many reporters here, 4080S 16GB + 5800X + 32GB and the first thing I have done was the nvidia dll update (I have updated only the DLL without the “g” suffix, as the latter caused freezes, but I do not use DLSS framegen) - my VRAM is usually aroud 12-14GB (I have also rebar enabled and working) and have not encountered the VRAM bug yet (playing on ultra details, 250 TLOD, DLSS Q).
That’s right.
DLSS Quality is rendering at a lower resolution, and upscaling with pixel interpolation to a higher monitor resolution.
DLAA looks slightly better than ‘Quality’ but to me the slight difference isn’t worth the ~30% FPS loss.
Same problem here, the problem started after the second small update. Before I had 50-70 fps, after the second update ( DECEMBER 3 IF I remember correctly) I get only 5-12. No matter what plane I use.
Use an AMD 9900 processor and Nvidia 3060Ti card
More shared VRAM than dedicated VRAM
Suffering from the same issues. I cannot seem to understand how I was getting high 60s in the Alpha and now I’m in the 5-10s
RTX 3070. Just loaded in at the default MAD with the fenix. How can the VRAM be maxed out? Low Textures, TLOD 50! This is rediculous. The sim is not useable for me which is a shame.
Since today sept 6th 2024 is also for me not more playable.
Never ever saw VRAM en RAM so high in usage.
FPS between 1-5 on RTX 3080ti ![]()
This is the spread I’m seeing in task manager… It’s not maxing my VRAM but it’s using shared as well? Very low CPU usage.
Frames are 35-50…(Frame Gen off) Feel like they could be a bit higher given the headroom? Feels like it’s running sloppier than it should. Not sure.
4K DLSS+DLAA, Mostly Ultra
Fenix A321
7800X3D
64GB @ 6000
4070Ti Super 16GB
This is hardware issue
Guys just what we need is reduce setting to 640x320, TLOD -400 for etc 4090 and lower for those who have less powerfull cards. This bug was exist in 2020 i was Think that new version 2024 will be well free of this because they said it will be full non beta dx12 Game. Reality is different. They grab are many for more Bugs and issue that we can even imagin.
