FPS since the Hotfix significantly Dropped

Performance has dropped alot since the Hotfix. Stuttery cockpits seeing sometimes 10fps at Glasgow, orbx Airport. Not even heady. Heading through clouds would normally drop to about 23fps. Now it’s dropping to 13fps.

No settings changed at all. Still the same and it all worked perfectly before hand. Steady 34fps throughout on 4k.
.

I don’t think it was the fotfix specifically that causes this issue as I have seen a slight increase.

Check if some settings has changed. Have you deleted rolling cache?

we have a lot of existing topics for that…

Hi everyone. The same happened to me. I can not even fly with 12 or 15 fps after latest patch. Before patch I had about 30 fps. No matter what settings I set, even on lowest settings, fps does not change. My GPU and CPU is maximum 30% used. I completely uninstalled MSFS and installed it again, no difference. Tested with render scalling 30, fps still 15, culdn’t even read numbers on instruments, but fps doesn’t move from 15. Very sad. Can not fly at all. I thing X-Plane is better choice. Going to reinstall win10, and msfs from scratch, maybe that help. BTW sorry on my English

I can repeat the former link about the already existing / duplicate topic :

hint: check the LOD settings

Answer to Micha… After killing myself with hopeless settings decited to reinstall Win10 (of course after back up Packages folder or you can simply rename it if located in non system drive). It was a lot of work with settings and MS updates but worth it. After installed new win10 and my all data I jus installed MSFS with no download 100GB of data again. Just copy Packages in their usual place. Didn’t belive. Everything works like before update!!! Now i have 30 FPS again. So it was not MSFS case but my operating system. Something messed up OS when updating MS windows and game itself. Worth a try. Hope it helps. Cheers
