Frame rate improves when not active window

No, but this is a general issue

Brief description of the issue:

Running the sim (over Hamilton NZ in this case) I see around 75-80fps when the FS window is not selected. But if I click on the FS, the frame rate then drops to the high 60s just by changing window focus

Open the sim, not in full screen. Click on the task bar to force focus to the task bar, observe FPS, click on sim window, observe FPS. Note audio being enabled in background changes nothing about FPS.

No, only for showing the frame rate I have switched on.

Brief description of the issue:

When the mouse focus is changed to an other window the frame rate increases! In my case about 15 frames per second?. Also the Limited by main thread changes to limited by main thread and gpu alternately. Without mouse focus on MSFS the graphics card suddenly much better utilized. The computer fans are turning up! I can also see the increased load in the Task Manager. There are also fewer stutters and a smoother display. The experience is also the same when MSFS is not in windowed mode!

Press ALT-TAB and switch the mouse focus to an other window, so that the mouse focus is not on MSFS.

I have LG C1 120hz. When my mouse inside msfs2020 window and clicks to anywhere within window, my fps drops to 60, even with Vsync off. When i alttab to click out of msfs2020 window, my fps goes back to 120fps as it should be. Latest nvidia driver released 566.14 , clean install, only unlimited shader cache selected on nvidia control panel, nothing else altered. All shader caches cleaned. Tested both windowed and fullscreen, same result. 7800x3D rtx4070 win11 23h2 2x16gb. Previously Nvidia Reflex was causing same issue when On or On+Boost. Now even it is off and no vsync it is still happening. Now it is switching between 120 and 60fps.
