I can’t say if it s a SU4 beta problem or not, I don’t think so as I do not find any other reports about my problem.
my system:
12700, 4080 Super, no OC
What happens is, that framgeneration suddenly stops working here.
I have fullscreen, 4K, 60 frames, TAA, DLSS FG 2x
When the sim runs, even when I do right nothing, frames drop, GPU power increases (vents spool up and I can see it with tools). I have then to ALT+ENTER to switch to windowed mode and back to fullscreen, then FG is working again, I have my 60 FPS and GPU usage goes down again as normal.
I also have the effect, that, when I don’t have MSFS2024 in focus, GPU usage also rises to 95-100%. When I get back to MSFS2024 window in focus, everything is normal.
The FG loosing does happen absolute randomly. My settings are mostly HIGH with some ULTRA settings. When everything runs normal, I have great and fluid performance.
I can’t say if this behave changes with every new SU4 Beta version, or if it is some certain settings in sim or in NVIDIA control, something is borked right now.
It was ok for some weeks now, but started again. And it is very often now, every few minutes.
Hope anyone has an idea what settings I could made (maybe I have forgotten some settings in NVIDIA I can try?)
