Frames at 15 fps

Hello i have a high end pc
Specs are I9 10900 k
Rtx 3080
32 gb ram @ 3700 MHz

I am only getting 15 fps . Latest drivers and windows update as well . I honestly dont know what to do . Running sim setting on high as well . Any suggestion to what can be the issue to get better frames cause right now the sim is unusable .

You’ll need to be a bit more detailed. What plane are you trying to fly and where are you trying to fly it? Whats your sim render scale set to? Currently there are many reasons to get low FPS in the sim.

Make sure your FXAA antialiasing in the Nvidia control panel is set to off.

Control panel on Gpu oerformance is changed to maximum performance and using the fbw airbus. Plus the settings is set to 100 in the sim .

Its literally just the sim… wait till its optimized. A potato will be as useful as your 3080 at present

So what your saying i cant use the sim until it gets optimized .

No you can.. just dont expect high FPS. Try lower your GPU settings… there is a very good thread on GPU settings. Try use medium settings

Its a wide know issue. Sim update 5 in July will hopefully improve it

I double my fps disabling traffic (it saturated my cpu, 3700x)

I think on 27th july we will get dx12 support and better performance

Hopefully it fixes these high end pcs issue .

dx12 will be good for some particle effects.
No performance gains

That’s not what Asobo told me on the last email.
DX12 will make performance better for high end CPU and GpU so I don’t know where you guys are getting this information that DX12 won’t make a difference with performance.

Where u got that info from ?

I spent the last 25 years ( :sob:) developing software/games.

Try to deactivate photogrammetry.

No, microsoft in their jun 24th release notes has mentioned better performance. They will further discuss this on 30th june.
