Likewise. I’m hardly using MSFS now. Too many bugs or things not fixed. I was using it because it looked good (and It still does in parts) but there are now too many popping textures, aesthetics (deteriorating) are no longer enough…I’ve found other things to occupy my time.
They are two different products. MSFS 2020 and 2024. You do not need to buy the 2024 version but would still expect MS to stick to its promise to maintain and continue to fix 2020. Thats why.
The fact that we have SU15 tomorrow confirms their commitment to the current MSFS. But what I’m saying is, it would be pointless wasting time and resources developing many of the things FS2024 promises. Stuff like the Northern Lights and advanced AI traffic — for which inexpensive mods are already available.
Most of us will be moving across to the new sim when it released. I know I don’t speak for every simmer but I’d personally rather they prioritise getting the next iteration right, instead of adding unnecessary ‘candy’ to the current sim. Continue improving it, by all means… but not at the potential expense of FS2024.
SU15 was delayed to April.
Doesn’t matter, it’s still a commitment.
