Freedom Fox (Trent Palmer's Kitfox) by developer Parallel 42

I mis-stated the developer’s name and have corrected my post above. The currect name is Creative Mesh.

If you get just one, Johnson Creek (3U2) is the best.

Their other two packages (Thomas Creek, 2U8) (Mohoney Creek, OU3, and Cougar Ranch, D47) give you some addition destinations and are also well worth their low price. Thomas Creek is very cool and is featured in one of Daher’s official Kodiak 100 promotional videos.

3U2 is one of the greatest sceneries in the sim!

Just picked that scenery up. Really lovely, you weren’t kidding haha.

A minor gripe (which I don’t know is an aircraft or sim issue) but the clickspots for the doors don’t work on the Xbox, I can’t open them. Assuming I’m not doing anything wrong of course.

They work on mine (Series X) - it’s the latch at the bottom front corners of each door that you’re clicking?

I’ll try again, thanks. I’m on series x too. Probably just me being a clueless muppet.

can you let me get a Link, to pick up these other sceneries…Many Thanks!

Microsoft Ingame Marketplace

So this appears to be like the start power issue, in that I can open the doors, but only in instrument view. It doesn’t work otherwise, unfortunately.

I love this plane! made a new friend at the camp too. Thank you

May have to pick this one up at some point. I really enjoy the low flight. Just waiting for a sale first.

Yes this will be fixed in the next update. Not an issue we or Microsoft have observed during testing

It’s a very minor thing, of course. Glad you’re aware anyway. Certainly does not detract from the experience. It’s a brilliant aircraft.

Genuine question: is the Fox really classified as an Ultralite?

I’d always assumed they were a class smaller. Yes this is small and light, but substantially chunkier than things like the Aero Lite Solo 103, Air Creation Trike and that weird flying dinghy (Hydro).

Those are tiny, one man (two at a squeeze) things with no fancy navigation equipment.

I think these kind of planes are defined as light sports aircraft these days.

I knew Trent Palmers plane would end up on FS2020

Wouldn’t be suprised if Draco makes it in to flight sim as well.

Tbh, would really love to have Scrappy instead.

Hello. I recently bought FreedomFox through the in-game store and found it optimized for VR flying with its excellent visibility. The problem is stuttering in VR. I use Quest 2 and turning on ASW always brings stuttering with this plane while other Asobo planes and third party planes I have do not. If ASW is turned off, no more stuttering is there but motion becomes less smooth then. It would be perfect if I could fly this nice bush plane with ASW support. Please touch my issue in a future update. Thank you.
