Quick question. Fired up the Xbox version of MSFS today to get everything up to date. I saw where this plane is now in the marketplace now and can be used on the Xbox. Anyway to transfer a purchase made through Orbx to the in game marketplace? If not, no big deal. Curious if this can be done.
Itâs not possible. Maybe you could get a refund and buy it againâŠ
i doubt it honestly, as said above i think the only solution is to get a refund. I canât see how you might move it to xbox
That is great, awesome that they listen to feedback. Going to have a look at it this weekend!
Speaking of Trent Palmer.
Anyone that flies real time is probably aware already - but his recent run in with the FAA has created some real waves as the FAA court case seems to be creating a precedent that go-arounds are illegal ⊠go figure.
Your comment was taken into account
Well i donât think i was the only one but a big up for you guys anyways, and i hope this will reflect good on your sales. I will at least make due on my part and get it.
Btw is this only on the Marketplace or is it also available directly fro you guys?
Only on Marketplace at this time.
We donât plan on making it available on Orbx.
Well, here we go. Really a fun little plane. Only tried the low nâ slow one (plenty of power still) so far.
Only one thing i noticed, it is very quiet inside. Really should be a fair bit louder. Other then that, very good fun. Love the massive doors, great visibility.
Very glad you like it!!
With a Rotax engine (specially with a headset on) itâs fairly quiet inside. If you want it louder you can rip the doors off
When I did that accidentally in flight then the sim killed me off so that doesnât actually work. I do like that itâll fall onto the prop and stay there if you brake too hard, instead of just looking you off. Sadly the sim doesnât support visual damage.
Iâd recommend turning off crash detection in the sim settings. It will magnify your fun without having to restart every time.
While the sim doesnât support visual damages natively, developers can change the visual of the aircraft themselves. Blowing off the doors on the fox is an example of that.
Just bought the Fox2 Base yesterday after quite some time on the fence. Such an amazing plane, will be spending a lot of my flying time in it for sure!
One thing though, the p-factor / turning to the left: Iâm sure itâs correct and itâs there on several other planes but without the possibility to trim it away it really gets annoying after awhile. Tried some but not all workarounds mentioned but it was still there.
Would it be possible to add a clickzone to disable it completely or is there a variable in some cfg-file I could set permanently?
We are coming up with an update to recalibrate those. No time estimate for now but should be soon!
Great news, thanks!
Flew around exploring for a few hours today and this plane is really great for that, love looking through the doors and seeing things that I would have had to go to outside view for on other planes. The Fox really has a zen quality to it making you just settle back in the chair and taking in the sim instead of rushing to the next place.
However, Iâll just go ahead and push my luck a little further
There was quite a lot of sunlight today and it would be my last and final wish for there to be less scrathes on the door-glass if possible. Itâs your plane and I respect your creative vision but itâs a bit of a shame to hamper those great views. To be fair, Iâm not that keen on wear and tear in planes in general but I think youâve otherwise found a good level adding to the realism in the Fox.
The problem with scratches on the windows in the sim is that they are in focus and hamper the view. In real life this doesnât happen. If youâre looking into the distance then the scratches on the window will be out of focus and given you have stereoscopic vision the brain is able to filter the scratches out so you donât notice them.
For this reason itâs better in the sim to keep window scratches to a minimum. Iâve noticed then in the fox a few times, but only at certain sun angles.
As to wear and tear / weathering I think itâs really important for realistic looks. Too many hand crafted add-ons have buildings that look like theyâve just had the wrapping taken off. I like enough wear and tear to make it look realistic, but not enough to make it look worn out.
