This is a recreation of EGCD Woodford Aerodrome in Greater Manchester by Skell300 and moi.
This airfield was founded by Avro in 1924 and is the birthplace of the Lancaster, Nimrod, Shackleton, Vulcan and plenty more.
These days it’s a housing estate which is reflected in the sim, so this has been scratch built with an aerial image from 2010.

I drove from Edinburgh to Woodford in the early 2002 i think to get a look at the Vulcan, but the closest I could get was the boundary fence NW, and it was covered in Fog
