[Freeware] Toussus-Le-Noble (Paris-Saclay-Versailles) (LFPN) Paris, France (update Nov'25)

For the real VFR addicts, I’ve just updated my scenery to 2.1.0 with 2 visual points on route RBT ↔ Sierra for VFR integration: the DGSI stations (antennas) at Boullay-Les-Trous (east of the route when northbound) and a Tower located in COSTIC campus (west of the route when northbound)

… and also:

  • Add helicopter’s startup position at Hege Helicoptere
  • Add Hege Helicoptere Sign on Hangar East area
  • Fix wrong passive blue lighted pole threshold 07R
  • Fix various taxiway markings
  • Clean trees around Chateau de Villier-le-Bacle

Very nice. many years ago I flew out of this airport in a rented C-150. As I recall Versailles was just available for a fly over as it was just outside the restricted airspace of Paris. I wonder how MSFS 2024 represents Versailles… nice work.

I could not resist a joy flight…

Thanks for your work. I really enjoy this and all your other airports you’ve done, nice job. I also appreciate how you keep them constantly updated - not everyone does that unfortunately.

Have you got any more in the pipeline at the moment? :slightly_smiling_face:

Thank you! I can’t remembered when the Versailles castle could have been out of the Class A (TMA/Class D) or Prohibited area, and I fly there for more than 20 years  Toussus (LFPN) is not the closest airport to the castle. It’s my other home base, Saint-Cyr-L’Ecole (LFPZ) with its two grass wide runways which is right in front of Le Château de Versailles.

Thank you for your support  Unfortunately, passion and the pace of the life didn’t gave me opportunity to start a new amateur’ish project.

Quick update with this 2.1.1 that fix a major elevation and terraforming issues located where was added the tower and antenna area on route to Sierra. You also gain a brain new checkerboard visual landmark to identify the inner and outer circuit on base runway 25.

  • Fix the elevation issue between SIERRA Visual Reporting Point and RBT Vor
  • Fix Sens Interdit (no entry) signs positions
  • Add a new visual landmark (Red & White checkerboard) on crosswind 07 / base 25

Update 2.1.2 fixes the missing texture “NO ENTRY” ground marking at the taxiway S1, remove (for MSFS2024) (to be finally confirmed) the red and white checkerboard on downwind and finally start fixing general elevation issue.

Thank you for this beautiful airport. For some time now, it has become my main base for my helicopter training and other things… I really like this place and the surrounding environment too.

The brand new version of my scenery is now available! This major update and upgrade brings full compatibility with MSFS2020 SU16 and aligns Bing Maps data with Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. Expect a complete redesign of the East Zone and apron areas, updated taxiway lines, new details like arrows, dirt patches, compass rose markings, reworked roads, optimized zones, new helicopter starts, and much more, down to the smallest touches you might not even notice.

Dirt area is everywhere on the field for more realism:

Did you know that they were a VOR Check location at Toussus ? Less and less used, a VOR check done at this compass rose verifies the aircraft’s VOR navigation accuracy against a fixed airport reference point. This ensures compliance with regulations requiring checks within ±4° for safe IFR operations.

An attempt - with my limited Blender skills - to mimic the Hégé Hélicoptère building and updates on some other east building zone.

West area of LFPN with AstonFly and Trimaille.

Another update v3.2.0 after my last IRL flight (reaching 1’000 hours of flight as a PPL). They were some slight changes I can’t resist to put into the simulator. It’s also a way for me to progress in MSFS SDK, Blender & Gimp. As usual, enjoy (for free) and share your feedback!

  • Finally, I removed the non-yet installed (IRL) Avgas self serve station.
  • Update electric charging station
  • Update - to match real world 4th Oct’25, replacement of new blue reflective poles
  • Update SP98 fuel with more details and more details. Yes, it’s a test bed to train on Blender !
  • Update Yellow cone objects (FATO) closer to reality

Outstanding work! Have just perfected my VR set up and need to take a spin around Paris.

Would it be possible to have a large, open, empty hangar where you could park your plane after landing?

Maybe put two or three static figures in the control tower too.

Many thanks for this beautiful, very detailed airport, I use it often.

Thanks John.

Regarding your two remarks… Hum… In the current version:

What I can do is remove the trolley and the aircraft blocking the access

Hello fellow aviators and MSFS enthusiasts!

The latest update for Toussus-le-Noble (LFPN) is here, and it’s all about realism. The new version 3.3.0 introduces two major upgrades:

  • All-new runway textures for MSFS2024
I’ve found a workaround to have realistic runway texture with this MSFS2020 scenery build to MSFS20204. Now, it matches the latest visual standard of MSFS2024. Expect crisp details, accurate wear-and-tear, and improved lighting effects - just like the real thing. Whether you’re landing at dawn or taking off under the Parisian sunset, the runways now feel alive. This is the reason why you have now to activate 2 folders in your Community.

  • Brand-New 100LL Self-Serve Fuel Station
As real as it gets! Just opened few days ago in the real-world, I’ve added this new self-serve station on the tower apron. Now you can refuel your aircraft exactly where pilots do in reality. And yes, the less-new SP98 fuel option is still available for those who need it.

Realism matters: The station is modeled based on actual photos and placed in its exact real-world location. No shortcuts - just authenticity.

Full Changelog

MSFS2024 users: starting with this v3.3.0 the .ZIP contains now two folders “vbcorp-airport-lfpn-enhanced” and “zzz-vbcorp-airport-lfpn-toussus”. You need to *activate these 2 folders* in your Community. Don’t change the folder name for “zzz-vbcorp-airport-lfpn-toussus”.

  • Add the new 100LL Avgas Mobile station (SMA) on Tower apron (opened Nov’25) As real as it gets!
  • Update ALLINTAIR wall marking on their hangar.
  • Update runways textures (major change for MSFS2024).
  • Fix vegetations here & here.
  • Fix blue poles.
  • Fix satellite texture not cleaned of plane objects and other artefacts.
