Hi all, just wanted to let you know that the project is progressing, but the whole project/package/whatever system used by FS is !#^&!** worthless and decided to delete my compiled project and objects, so I have to rebuild the whole thing and itās not working as it should and driving me up the wall.
(rant) This whole project/package setup is ridiculous and not very well thought out. It works one moment then breaks the next. The file structure is needlessly complicated and specific and makes the whole thing immensely frustrating. Why canāt I just make a single &*((^@#! folder and put everything in there and not have to worry about a layout.json or whatever⦠Bah. (/rant)
Iāll be back ASAP with some screenshots once Iāve gotten the whole thing working again.
So, quick update: itās working again! Back to texturing!
Iām also toying with the idea to release a beta (unfinished) version so the people waiting patiently have something to hold them over while I deal with my perfectionism. Is that something that would be appreciated or would the community rather wait on the final version?

Wow great progress!
Only found some small issues:
The 3 correctly positioned windsocks are showing inverted wind direction (180 degrees the other way). And there is a 4th windsock just next to the runway thatās not there in reality but showing the wind direction correctly (probably the standard scenery one?). The 4th windsock should be near the terminal building next to the red apron markers.
The red/white blocked visual circuit markers in the fields have a very agressive LOD and pop in very late so they canāt really be used for navigating the circuit. Also most of them seem to be in an incorrect position according to google maps satellite images.

The visual marker LODs is something Iāve noticed too. Havenāt gotten around to fixing that. The positions, however, should be spot on. I actually visited them in real life (slogging through muddy fields) but it you can point out how I can improve the locations do let me know!
The red circles are the markers i found in the scenery, the blue dots are where i can see them in Google maps. There are 4 in total but 2 of them seem to be placed incorrectly.
Funny thing is in Bing maps theyāre not showing at all. Bing seems to have older imaging than google.
Oh in that case I think I misjudged the position in sim⦠That area (farm fields) isnāt very feature rich.

Scenery has been updated to 0.5.9, changelog:
Updated:
- Terminal interior updated and expanded.
- Terminal parking stands.
- Added buildings: HeliHolland, AIS Flight Academy, AIS Hangar, AirWaterland, Xtrata25, KLM Aeroclub (many thanks to user Garfield!)
- Added first iteration of blast fences and Lelystad Airport sign.
Known issues:
- Glass textures on the new terminal are tempermental, Iām working out how to get them done properly.
- Railing textures around the escalator/stairs arenāt working properly for some reason.
- Apron z-fighting issue (being looked at)
- Blurry apron textures.
- Windsock direction is backward, being investigated.
- Blast fencing is not complete; will be fixed in the next update.
- VFR Circuit Marker LODs arenāt working properly; Iāve scaled the model to about 150% actual size, but the LOD issue is a known issue in the sim.
Fixed:
- Runway approach lighting
- VFR Circuit Marker Positions
- Height mismatch on second floor of the new terminal.
- Overall height/elevation issues occasionally.
Planning for future update:
- Fix glass/facade issues on the new terminal.
- Add helicopter practice area etc.
- New terminal apron upgrade textures.
- Blast fence position.
- Windsocks.

Any idea when taxiways and lighting are being finalized? I see lot of grassy dark taxiways
I donāt see that white truck in my builds⦠Youāre not the first one to show that but I canāt seem to replicate that problem.
My main priority at the moment is getting the basics of the buildings sorted and getting the textures right. The taxiways and surfaces will follow shortly after!
