Freq - vor, ndb, etc

Hi, all. Does anyone know of a site I can find a comprehensive list (USA, world, whatever) of NAVAID freq’s useful in MSFS for civilian aircraft and the electronics they have onboard? Tryin to learn to use them. Thanks, Mike

Hi there, the best tool to use for this is LittleNavMap. You can easily plan your flight, look at what NAVAIDs are available on your way there and it will tell you the range, frequency, name, inbound and outbound radials, etc.You can turn off the flight tracking to make it more challenging for yourself and just have the map and the NAVAIDS. You can get it here: Alex Projects - Little Navmap

Plenty of info here:

https://www.google.com/search?client=ms-android-samsung-rvo1&sca_esv=580846077&q=Navaid+frequencies+list&uds=H4sIAAAAAAAA_-My5WLxySwuERLKSyxLzExRSCtKLSxNzUvOTC02ECoS98MQVcgBKjfCohwAwke9-UsAAAA&sa=X&ictx=0&lei=v9NMZfznLZTAhbIPgti60A8

I also highly recommend SkyVector.com, at least for the US. You could also look into a Navigraph subscription but depending on what you plan on doing that may be overkill.

i appreciate the info. what i’m looking for is an “this airport uses that freq” list. mike

Second the LittleNavMap and skyvector options.

Within Skyvector, if you hover the mouse over an airport and click on the link that pops up in the airport name, you’ll be taken to an info page that includes the official chart supplement (which used to be called the airport/facility directory).

Or, you can go straight to the source and search for it from the FAA’s website: https://www.faa.gov/air_traffic/flight_info/aeronav/digital_products/dafd/search/

In there you’ll find all the useful frequencies for an airport, though they don’t always match the sim.

Charts and airports are my thing, so if you want/need any help deciphering any of that, let me know.

thank you, I’ll check it out. mike

I’m happy to be corrected, but I don’t think the FAA will have information on navaids in that mysterious place called “Not America”.

You can get all this information from the msfs map screen , just adjust your map filter to display navaids , same as airports you click on them and they display the frequency

Thank you, I will check that out today! Mike
