Saturday morning update,
I rolled back originally to prior to the windows update and still had issues. After using the restore point I had other BSODs show up. A week ago I added new RAM to my pc. Since the roll restore did not solve my issues, I decided to replace the new RAM with my old RAM.
I get further into the MSFS install and update, but still am getting stuck with the final decompression. Attached are my latest screenshots from this morning. Just to clarify, I have installed the latest windows update again, and now I get to the 100% portion of the update but am unable to decompress the last file.
Other info - I can run X-Plane 12 with no issue, Halo Infinite with no issue, and have run Passmark, Windows memory test = Pass, 3D Mark Stress Tests and Benchmarks with no BSODs. Every BSOD has come with the MSFS update running or after shutting MSFS off and finding the program has not entirely shut down.
