The MSFS program is also not closing when I exit the updater. It remains open in the background and to close the program I have to go into the task manager processes to end the task. If I do not, there is a constant 5-20% load on my CPU.
I don’t want to, but I am considering a fresh windows install. I have repeated the MSFS uninstall/install almost a dozen times now and all have lead to issues. I am going through the Windows Event logs now looking at those for clues.
