My friend always appear to be offline to me. (Since the launch of the sim).
We are both able to see our other mutural friend but not eachother. We both tried to log out and login on x-box live but that didnt solved the issue.
What to do?
Sorry forgot to mention we are on the same server. Today he could see me but he was still offline in my list

Some do have problems with this. Try these to see if any work:
- Make sure you are on a same server
- Make sure to be grouped
- In General option > Data > activate multiplayer
OR (non-group):
- Play without joining a group
- Select All Players in Multiplayer settings

hi, i have same problem… i have reinstalled MSFS, i am under steam, all my friends are disconnected . so it’s impossible join a group…
I don’t wish ans want reinstall WINDOWS !!! i have disconnected xbox re connected…
we are on same server , they look me as connected.

I have made 2 actions, i don’t know which is the good!
first, i have chage my gamer name in XBOX count.
second , i have synchronized time in my windows panel config .
have fun to fly with msfs2020!

I wonder if that is what corrected it. 
I’ve certainly encountered an array of issues as an IT nerd for 25 years with respect to system time and networking. It wouldn’t surprise me at all. Definitely add to the “Tips and Tricks” list.
