A flight from Simikot in north-west Nepal up the Karnali river onto the Tibetan plateau and across an annamed 5500 meter pass to India. Past the 7000ers Kamet, Dronagiri and Nanda Devi down into the lush, green valleys on the Himalayas southern slopes to Gauchar airstrip.
