FRUSTRATION! 787 LNAV tracking issues

I’m pretty certain your deadzones are the issue. I had this issue several months ago using HEAVY 787 and couldn’t figure it out until someone told me to increase my deadzones and voila, worked like a charm.

I have had a similar issue with the 747(salty mod), not with the 787. I fixed issue by turning on LNAV during my preflight. When I’m still at the gate, after the FMC is set up I turn on FD, then LNAV & VNAV and go on with my preflight setup. Once you’re in the air just turn on AP and let the aircraft line up with your flight plan. I’ve seen other sim pilots having similar issues and this was the work-around recommended on github. Otherwise, is there a way to report this to the team at Heavy mod and see if they’ve seen this before?

Looks like setting the dead zone to 16% did the job. I flew 2 flights and all seems good.

The only thing now that is happening is that my HUD information some how is bigger then viewing area. Not sure if that is part of the MOD.

Told you! You should set this as a solution for others, as you’re definitely not the first person who had this issue. Dead zones are always the fix, typically.

Also, the HUD is messed up for all of us, sadly I don’t even use it.

You are the man! I will pass it on. Thanks!
