FS Package Tool Problem

Morning, I’m trying to compile an aircraft using fspackagetool from the SDK and failing miserably! I have copied the sample aircraft from the SDK and made some minor changes.

When running fspackagetool.exe file.xml I keep getting the following error:
“XMLValidation | error: XML root node name is invalid. Got AssetPackage, expected PackageToolConfig”

The XML file reads:

<Project Version="1" Name="C17" FolderName="Packages">
	<OutputDirectory>.</OutputDirectory>
	<TemporaryOutputDirectory>_PackageInt</TemporaryOutputDirectory>
	<Packages>
		<Package>PackageDefinitions\C17pd.xml</Package>
	</Packages>
</Project>

The referenced XML file is:

<AssetPackage Name="C17pd.xml" Version="1">
	<ItemSettings>
		<ContentType>AIRCRAFT</ContentType>
		<Title>C17 Globemaster III</Title>
		<Manufacturer>Boeing</Manufacturer>
		<Creator>Creator</Creator>
		<Description/>
	</ItemSettings>
	<Flags>
		<VisibleInStore>true</VisibleInStore>
		<CanBeReferenced>true</CanBeReferenced>
	</Flags>
	<AssetGroups>
		<AssetGroup Name="ContentInfo">
			<Type>Copy</Type>
			<Flags>
				<FSXCompatibility>false</FSXCompatibility>
			</Flags>
			<AssetDir>PackageDefinitions\C17\ContentInfo\</AssetDir>
			<OutputDir>ContentInfo\C17\</OutputDir>
		</AssetGroup>
		<AssetGroup Name="MarketplaceData">
			<Type>Copy</Type>
			<Flags>
				<FSXCompatibility>false</FSXCompatibility>
			</Flags>
			<AssetDir>PackageDefinitions\C17\MarketplaceData\</AssetDir>
			<OutputDir>MarketplaceData\C17\</OutputDir>
		</AssetGroup>
		<AssetGroup Name="AscotZeroOneZero-BoeingC17GlobemasterIII">
			<Type>SimObject</Type>
			<Flags>
				<FSXCompatibility>false</FSXCompatibility>
			</Flags>
			<AssetDir>PackageSources\SimObjects\Airplanes\C17-G\</AssetDir>
			<OutputDir>SimObjects\Airplanes\C17-G\</OutputDir>
		</AssetGroup>
	</AssetGroups>
</AssetPackage>

Any thoughts?

Thanks
