FS Stress Test to help me decide if I keep a laptop

I will soon receive a laptop I will be using exclusively for FS.
I’d like to figure out fairly quickly if the machine can handle running it smoothly and was wondering if besides using Ultra settings, there was a good stress test.
This will help me decide if I should return it and investigate another machine with different specs.

The specs of the new laptop (Area 51 r2) are:
i7 10700k
16G ram
Rtx2070Super
1Tb SSD M.2 x2 (Raid0) +500gb ssd

Also debating whether I should double the ram… thoughts?
Does the drive you install FS on impact loading speed, as I heard it can be quite slow?

Loading speed seems to be mostly related to the number of files you have in your Community folder. Not the size of the files themselves. So, large Google Maps addons will slow the sim the most.

And RAM is ok. I’d say if you can afford it, double to 32.

I run MSFS on a Razer Blade 15 Adv. I upgraded the RAM to 32. I do see RAM go past 16G on a few occasions, so for me it’s worth it.
