FS Tramp Navigation

Has anyone used FS Tramp with FS2020. Is it compatible?

Not yet unfortunately!
And it’s really missing

Thanks for the HU!
As far as I remember, Helge said the MSFS version will be free of charges for existing license owners.

Available!
And working beautifully!

The FSTramp reminds me of a beautiful flight planning software called FSNavigator for the FSX. It has a very overseeable and good looking moving map display showing all airports with ILS paths and frequency information, as well as all other navaid information (VOR, NDB etc.). Zooming into airports, FSTramp shows readable taxiway numbers, parking lots and runway information. Moving the mouse over the world map shows you at every mouse position the altitude above sea level - a great help for altitude planning. The program has many useful settings for individual flight planning and an autopilot (passenger) function, taking full control of any airplane used, to automatically follow the flight plan, as you sit back for sight seeing! Positioning the mouse over navaids and airports shows very detailed information of those areas. The program also auto creates nice showing flight routes with all required way points, which you can easily edit on the map. Saving the flight plan as a *.PLN to MSFS allows you to load and automatically setup your flight plan in your airplane FMS - a great feature!

Although not noted, the program also assembles external puchased sceneries assigned to the “Community” folder!

The licence is on a yearly payment fee basis (€ 32). I think the program is worth the money, because it is uncomplicated and has a much better “look” and “feel” compared to the built-in FS2020 flight planning system.

All in all, it’s surely worth testing for free - and it is really fun to use… :+1:t2:

It’s better than little nav map?

Check it out yourself…it is free to test and easy to install and use!

Robert, thanks for the info. On the same subject re PLN’s, Plan G has just brought out an Alpha
copy ‘Plan G 4.1’ suitable for MSFS. I have installed it, it loads data from MSFS OK and works well.
Also an interesting website with sceneries and liveries etc is > https://flightsim.to/<, installing is a little complicated but worth a look. I am still finding it difficult to find MSFS files, not like the old days
with FSX, you could manipulate AC and Addons easily !
Cheers,
George
