I decided to wait and see as far as 2024 is concerned. Still flying Fenix in 2020 perfectly well.
Until today! Apparently my bandwidth too low (I checked, getting 250 over fiber!) so forced off line and then stopped working.
I guess 2020 servers being stolen for 2024! Unacceptable

I had a few issues with 2020 just getting into the sim over a week ago, having gone back to it from 2024. Had worked ok again up until, as you mention, today!
Sat watching a loading bar fill the screen then it stops at the end and never goes any further. Had started to notice some odd things in the last few days too, whether related to this issue or not.
Low poly models on taxi ways, ground crew looking like melted action figures or not popping into existence until my plane is on top of them, real low level of detail and terrain textures looking muddy and low res. It’s almost as if 2020 is being downgraded to make 2024 look good and it seems to me like a lot more assets are being streamed into 2020 than previously were as the exact same issues, for me at least, are now appearing in both versions.
Its not my internet speeds either as they are well above required.

Hi I got the same msg bandwidth too low, had mine set to unlimited so reduced to 40 and it worked fine. Had no issues with stuttering and sound buzz I was getting…hope you get it running im in the UK

Streaming issues wont let me had bing maps even though my internet speed is through the roof???

VPN is a beautiful thing, just logged into a German VPN and walla streaming issues go away…
Good thing MSFS believes in “110%” legal VPNS to get around its failings and the constant UK issues is becoming a very tired exercise for many here.

Are problems being reported by many others or are only a few of us having the low bandwidth connection issues?
I note that I had stutters when normally 2020 is relatively “visually smooth”. Not sure if that’s related but makes me think it could be.

US East Coast , same issues. Melting airport workers…and it’s freezing cold.
Same here… UK. Low bandwidth message leading to Bing off leading to terrible visuals and major stuttering. All day. Had this quite a few times over the last month. Ridiculous
Same today plagued by low bandwidth messages. Have also noticed the checking for updates takes much longer than it was. Theses problem only seemed to have started with MSFS-2024 being around. It is hard not to think this is not related.
Exact same issue - incredibly annoying. Loading times have taken a stupidly long time. Thought it was my system until I have seen other people have the same problem
I agree. There needs to be some kind of acknowledgement of the long term issues caused for 2020 by the 2024 release. It’s appalling to have made 2020 unplayable at least once a week when they’ve released 2024 with no compatibility with most aircraft, despite promising otherwise.
Also Getting same low bandwidth message. Was looking forward to an evening of learning helicopter flying in the H145

This has happened once a week since 2024 was released:
30th November
7th December
16th December
(Not suggesting a connection or foul play; just presenting facts).
Scenery download pausing for seconds at a time today.
When reinstated, areas of countryside spring up in glory.
The ‘Default’ landscape, IMHO, is fine.

Is a simple ‘Default’ landscape sent every session?
Is it only used when internet dries up?
Airfields are OK.
Anyone any ideas why just us folks in the UK seem to be struggling?
